The sessions.
- 2 general-use relaxation sessions — Tension Release and Deep Relaxation
- A workbook
- The evidence, explained simply
- A before/after check-in, to track how you're feeling
What it covers.
- Habit definition worksheet — the specific pattern, and what precedes it
- Readiness ruler — how ready you feel to change, revisited weekly
- Replacement plan — what happens instead, written before you need it
- Relapse log — not a failure log, a data log
- Four-week review
The structure.
One session most days, with a weekly readiness check. Slips are logged, not hidden — the plan assumes they'll happen and treats them as information.
What the research says about habit change.
There's no single hypnotherapy trial for “habit change” in general — the category is too broad for one study to cover. What this pack draws on instead is well established outside hypnosis specifically: the Transtheoretical Model of behaviour change, which describes readiness moving through stages rather than switching on all at once (Prochaska & DiClemente, 1983), and Motivational Interviewing's readiness-to-change framework, built around exactly the ambivalence most people feel about changing a habit (Miller & Rollnick, 2012).
Hypnotic technique is used here to deliver those established mechanisms — rehearsal of the replacement behaviour, and a felt sense of readiness rather than just an intellectual decision — rather than to claim some separate, hypnosis-specific effect on habits that the literature doesn't support.
This is the most general pack in the range, which means it's also the most honest about thin direct evidence. If the habit in question involves a diagnosed condition — disordered eating, dependency, compulsive behaviour with clinical significance — that's a conversation for a professional first.
No pack-specific reproducible trial exists for this area — see the general habit-change framing above.
